Data processed
For a purchase we process the receipt email, public music link, metadata returned by the selected platform, paid amount, payment status and limited technical security records. Stripe processes card details; SONG ON TOP does not receive or store full card numbers.
Purpose and legal basis
Purchase data is used to perform the requested service, keep the ranking consistent, prevent abuse, generate cards, handle incidents and meet legal obligations. Processing is based on performance of the contract, legal obligations and the legitimate interest in securing and measuring the service.
Public information
Song title, artist, cover, platform link, confirmed takeover price, chart position and ranking history are public. Email, card details and Stripe identifiers are not published.
Audience measurement
Approximate unique visits and listens are counted using a one-way technical hash derived from request information. The site does not place an advertising cookie or a persistent analytics identifier in your browser for this count.
Recipients and retention
Data is shared only with providers needed to host the service, process payments and resolve public music metadata, or when required by law. Purchase and accounting records are retained for applicable statutory periods; short-lived security records are deleted sooner.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability where applicable, and may complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
